My #MarriageAffirmation for this week is a daily reminder that the more I know about my spouse, the stronger our marriage will be. So, I use each day as an opportunity to learn something new about him.
I often ask his opinion to get more insight and perspective to make better decisions in my career and my relationships. Including him keeps us connected and engaged in each other’s lives. I also ask him for advice from time to time because I value his thoughts. I know the information that he’ll provide will help me continue to grow.
As we engage in each other’s lives through dialogue I learn more and more about him. The investment of time spent learning more about each other’s perspectives grows our relationship and strengthens our bond.
